Our Process

Our six-step process ensures that your family gets access to optimal care tailored to their needs.

01

Connect with a Clinician

When you’re ready to begin, simply reach out and schedule a call with one of our clinicians. During this initial 20-30 minute conversation, we’ll delve into your family’s needs and explore the short- and long-term goals you envision for your child. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with a knowledgeable Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), and best of all, it’s completely complimentary!

02

Complete an Evaluation

Good Humans comprehensive assessment provides a thorough understanding of your child’s strengths and challenges. This is also a good time to check in on your needs. A trial exposure session, overseen by a BCBA, observes your child’s peer interactions while collecting data and conducting interview-based assessments. These insights inform the creation of personalized, evidence-based care tailored to your family’s needs.

03

Review Care Recommendations

Following the evaluation, caregivers receive a comprehensive report detailing insights into your child’s behavior. This report can be shared with schools, other providers, and key individuals in your child’s life. Before treatment commences, we review the findings together, discuss clinical recommendations, and outline a graduation plan to guide your child’s progress.

04

Begin Your Journey

Together, we’ll set a start date and embark on our journey toward progress. Sessions, led by a BCBA at the clinic, usually take place once a week for an hour. The BCBA implements an evidence-based social skills curriculum tailored to each child’s individual goals

05

Progress Monitoring

Together, we’ll set a start date and embark on our journey toward progress. Sessions, led by a BCBA at the clinic, usually take place once a week for an hour. The BCBA implements an evidence-based social skills curriculum tailored to each child’s individual goals

06

Graduation

Our program aims to foster the generalization of social skills across various settings and interactions. We prioritize real-world application to nurture friendships both with and beyond the clinical environment. This entails ensuring that each child can apply their skills at a park, family gatherings, school, and with different peers. This milestone often marks a celebration of progress and signifies readiness for graduation.
